Purushottam Nagesh Oak was born on March 2, 1917 at Indore (MP). Graduated MA, LL.B. from University of (the then) Bombay. During the period of World War II 1941 to 1945, he was associate of Netaji, Subhash Chandra Bose. At the end of the war, crossing many borders in the jungles of Burma and Far East states, he returned to India. Then he served in various English News paper houses as a reporter in New Delhi. Last 15 years till 1974, he worked in the capacity of American embassy as the editor in charge of Indian Information. His main contribution to the Indian history was the theory “Taj Mahal is Temple complex, much prior to Shahjahan who claimed to have constructed the monument in the memory of his wife. He later on established an institute of Rewriting of World History. He died on 4 December 2007, in Pune.
