Oak Kul Mandal

1. To bring together individuals belonging to the *Vashishtha Gotra* Chitpavan Oak clan and foster a sense of kinship; to cultivate a spirit of unity among them based on their shared lineage (*Kul*); and to enroll them as members of the organization.

2. To publish a periodical to disseminate information about the organization's activities and to showcase the literary or socially beneficial contributions of its members and well-wishers.

3. To gather, research, and compile data—including statistical information—regarding individuals of the *Vashishtha Gotra* Chitpavan Oak clan; and to periodically print, publish, and release updated content, periodicals/magazines, and clan chronicles (*Kulvruttant*).

4. To provide financial assistance and scholarships—without conditions—to promising and needy students (including women of the clan who have married into other families) for their education; and to extend financial aid to clan members facing physical or financial hardships. To facilitate education, training, and the acquisition of knowledge in various fields—such as technology, medicine, and technical skills—in an inclusive manner. To provide medical and financial assistance to women of the clan (including those married elsewhere) and to offer financial support to clan members who are physically or financially disadvantaged.

5. To strive for the progress and development of all sections of society and provide assistance, while fostering a spirit of nationalism, with the cooperation of fellow clan members and the Clan Association. To organize religious festivals, clan gatherings, and community meets on behalf of the Association, as well as to observe the birth and death anniversaries of eminent personalities and celebrate national festivals. To cultivate a sense of nationalism while working towards the holistic progress and development of all, with the cooperation of fellow clan members. To provide support to the clan's traditional customs, family deities, religious sites, places of pilgrimage, temples, and affiliated institutions.

6. To undertake all necessary activities to fulfill the objectives of the organization, and to establish and manage the organization.

7. To strive for the intellectual, physical, and all-round upliftment of community members and to assist Chitpavan Brahmin individuals in pursuing education in religious, literary, classical, technical, and industrial fields.

8. To provide assistance to orphaned, sick, disabled, distressed, and elderly individuals belonging to Chitpavan Brahmin families and to create a dedicated fund for this purpose whenever necessary.

9. To promote the dissemination of knowledge by establishing and operating libraries and reading rooms; organizing meetings, lectures, and study circles; fostering an appreciation for and enriching Sanskrit literature and Aryan culture; and creating awareness among the general public. To facilitate education for boys and girls by launching pre-primary, primary, secondary, higher secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses and establishing schools and colleges; and to provide training in technical, vocational, computer, industrial, and agricultural fields. Similarly, to establish, operate, manage, and administer classes for adult education, Indian classical music, yoga, physical education, and other educational disciplines for community members, as well as to initiate and run research departments. Additionally, to introduce contemporary educational courses deemed appropriate by the Trustees, while ensuring that students from other castes and sects are also eligible for admission.

10. To foster unity and a spirit of affection among members of the Chitpavan Brahmin community, and to cultivate and strengthen qualities such as discipline, foresight, a sense of duty, and self-respect.

11. To establish and operate development centers, Sanskar (cultural/values) centers, preschools (Balakmandirs), study circles, health centers, and arts and sports centers.
